The GARFIELD EP is here! We're so happy to be able to share this body of work with you all. Digital and analog copies can be bought here! As we said before, one dollar of every EP sold will be donated to animal rescue efforts in memory of the late, great Garfield Candy-Goodman. Lyrics can be read here.

Thanks to the Nashville Cream and We Own This Town for previewing and reviewing the third track, "Jean Dark."

Our release show is tonight at the Stone Fox in Nashville. We'll be joined by local bands Shadraq and Desmond (new project by Duane Denison and Paul Allen). Here's a write-up that the Nashville Scene did about it! We'll be over at Grimey's Too for an earlier in-store set today at noon.

The Halloween single will be released on October 30th, just in time for the best holiday of the year! In the meantime, check out the Halloween singles we've released so far: "Pet Sematary" (2013) and "Them Bones" (2014). All proceeds go to addiction research!

Hey dudes!

The GARFIELD EP is now up for pre-order! The EP will be released on October 17th, and at that time, we will send out all pre-ordered cassettes (which each include a digital download) AND make the freestanding digital download available. For now, we're just allowing the order of the hard-copy tapes. There are only one-hundred in existence, they're each hand-numbered, and one dollar of every EP sold will be donated to animal rescue efforts. The third track, "Jean Dark," is up for preview and will also download immediately with your pre-order. ORDER NOW!

To celebrate the new music, we're having a proper release show at Nashville's own Stone Fox. We'll be joined by Shadraq as well as Desmond, the new project by Duane Denison and Paul Allen. The evening promises to rule, so get tickets now!

Speaking of tickets, the Loved Ones reunion show we're playing at Bowery Ballroom in February? SOLD OUT. That's right - in five days, no less. Can't wait.

B.A. Signed with D'Addario and we have new limited edition merch!

Dudes!

Killer news around here: B. signed an artist deal with the rad folks over at D'Addario/Planet Waves! She'll be playing them on and off stage going forward, just as she has been for fifteen years. So cool!

Also, we made some new limited-edition merch with our lightning logo. These bags were made with a hand-cut stencil and some good ol' spray paint. It's a run of fifteen bags, and they're all hand-numbered. They come in two sizes: Small, 13.5" x 13.5 (black only), and Large, 18" x 15.5" (Black, Grey, Brown, and Natural). Can be used to carry rekkids, skateboards, groceries, art supplies, guitar cables etc. Grab one!

Lastly, the show we were scheduled to play on August 29th was canceled. BUT, we're playing the 26th at Springwater in Nashville, and we'll be live on the WRFN Nashville (103.7 & 107.1) the next night, August 27th. Tune in at 9 pm CST to hear us on The Real Music City, playing live and talking about what we're up to. Should be a great time!

New Halloween single by Friendship Commanders!

Happy Halloween! What better way to celebrate than with the new single by Friendship Commanders? They covered "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains this year, and had a blast doing it. Some of you may remember their Halloween single last year, a cover of the Ramones' beloved "Pet Sematary," and all proceeds from the FC version were donated to the Hazelden Foundation in memory of Dee Dee Ramone. This year, they will donate all proceeds in the name of Layne Staley. You can buy both of them for a dollar (each) - or more!

The first Three-Sided-Single to be released by TTS is now available for pre-order! Cassette Store Day 2014 is this Saturday, September 27th, and FC want you to be able to get ahold of one of these limited edition tapes! There are only one-hundred and fifty in existence, they're each hand-numbered, and they come with a free digital download code. The recordings will not be available anywhere else, so grab one while you can! All pre-ordered cassettes will be mailed on the 27th. 

They'll be playing two shows in Bowling Green KY on the 27th to celebrate the release. They'll be at Mellow Matt's Music & More around 4 p.m. for an in-store performance, and then at 643 for a proper rock show at 10 pm.

Three-Sided-Single in the works for Cassette Store Day!

Friendship Commanders are currently working on recording three songs that will be released in a limited capacity for Cassette Store Day 2014. This year, CSD is September 27th, and there will be in-stores, shows, and events all over the U.S. and England. We're happy to be participating with this limited release, and look forward to seeing what/who else is involved!

merch, shows, stoked

Friendship Commanders have had a rad year of getting started, and are looking forward to conquering all in 2014. They finally have physical copies of their debut release, the AMOS EP. We had CDs made, as well as a limited run of fifty cassettes - all hand-numbered! They played a couple of great shows in October and November and have two already lined up for January. Please be sure to check out their tour page for details. 

Since they tracked their EP, they went from being a two-piece project (with a third guy for shows), to being a full-time trio. They happily added Cody MCall to the line-up after two strong shows with him. When you see them live from her out, he'll be the smiling dude who is kicking ass on bass.

FC are working on songs for a full-length album that they're planning to record in the coming year. Updates about that will be posted here as we get them!

Friendship Commanders are finally entering the wild world of hard merch, and we couldn't be happier about the products. By this coming Friday, we'll be selling two tangible versions of their recent AMOS EP: CDs in a cardboard wallet and limited edition (only fifty!) hand-numbered cassettes.
